Christopher Wiley
Executive Director
Chris joined The Village of River Oaks in October 2023, bringing nearly 20 years of senior living leadership experience and a deep passion for serving older adults and their families. A Dallas-Fort Worth native, he has called Houston home for 17 years and enjoys the city’s rich culture and food scene.
After earning a B.S. in Gerontology from the University of North Texas, Chris began his career in a family-run senior living company—and quickly discovered his calling. He’s committed to supporting his team in delivering exceptional service each day. Outside of work, Chris enjoys live music, traveling with his wife, and watching Dallas Stars hockey with his two cats.
Hayley Benitez
Director of The Parc / Assistant Executive Director
Hayley Benitez joined The Village of River Oaks as Director of The Parc and Assistant Executive Director in August 2024. Her passion for senior living began at age twelve while attending a kids club at the memory care community where her mother worked. Since then, Hayley has gained over many years of experience across Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. A Certified Assisted Living Manager, she brings expertise in new community openings, operations, office management, and regional training. Outside of work, Hayley enjoys time on the lake with her husband and their two dogs.
Katie Krell
Director of Sales & Marketing
Katie joined Aspenwood in 2023 as a Sales Counselor at The Village of Southampton and became Director of Sales and Marketing at The Village of River Oaks in February 2024. With 18 years in hospitality and a deep passion for serving seniors, she brings strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to excellence during times of transition.
Katie has a proven record of success; she continues to drive growth with thoughtful marketing strategies and personalized service. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her two daughters, staying active, golfing, and soaking in the outdoors.
Brittany Gabriel
Director of Business Development
Brittany Gabriel serves as Director of Business Development at The Village of River Oaks, bringing extensive senior living experience and a strong background in sales and marketing leadership. Since joining in January 2025, she has focused on building strategic healthcare partnerships and connecting families to high-quality care.
Inspired by her personal experience caring for her grandparents, Brittany is passionate about advocacy and creating supportive, compassionate communities for seniors. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, collecting vinyl, and staying active in her sorority.
Patrick McMillan
Director of Dining Services
Patrick McMillan has served as Director of Dining Services at The Village of River Oaks since March 2023, bringing over 10 years of leadership experience in private clubs and luxury hotels. With a focus on quality, consistency, and innovation, he leads the dining team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
A Culinary Arts graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, Patrick also holds certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and has completed advanced training through the Business Management Institute. His deep expertise and high standards continue to elevate every aspect of the community’s dining program.
Scott Jackman
Director of Life Enrichment: Independent Living
Scott joined The Village of River Oaks in April 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience developing and directing senior enrichment programs. He oversees classes, movies, outings, and events, and always welcomes resident input.
With a background in theater and film, Scott infuses creativity and energy into his programming, believing that engagement through cognitive stimulation and emotional expression enhances senior wellness. He has also presented nationally on strategies to reduce social isolation among older adults.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Scott is a UCLA and Vancouver Film School graduate. Now a Houston resident for a decade, he enjoys life with his wife and two sons, exploring the outdoors, playing tennis, and diving into great conversations about movies, music, and food.
Deavion Williams
Director of Life Enrichment: Assisted Living & Memory Care
Deavion “Davi” Williams is the Life Enrichment Director for the Parc and Parcside neighborhoods at The Village of River Oaks. Since joining in 2021 as a concierge, she has served in multiple roles—most recently becoming Director in November 2023.
Davi designs engaging activity calendars, leads staff training, and works closely with dining and clinical teams to enhance resident experiences. With a hospitality background and a heart for connection, she’s passionate about creating joyful, meaningful moments that prevent isolation and foster belonging.
Beloved for her warmth and humor, Davi is known for her uplifting greeting: “Good morning, my beautiful people!” and her mantra, “This is your world; I’m just living in it.”
